The PCB will write a formal letter to the interior ministry, seeking guidance on whether it is feasible to host PSL 9 in Pakistan during the election period
The ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) draft is slated to take place in Lahore on December 14, right after the National T20 Cup ends.
A meeting of the HBL Pakistan Super League governing council took place at the National Cricket Academy on Tuesday in Lahore, chaired by Zaka Ashraf, the Chairman of the PCB Management Committee.Representatives from all six HBL PSL franchises, along with PCB officials, participated in a productive and in-depth discussion covering various topics, including operational and logistical aspects of the upcoming PSL 9 edition.
The PCB will initiate the process by writing a formal letter to the interior ministry, seeking guidance on whether it is feasible to host PSL 9 in Pakistan during the election period or if it should be relocated to another country, most probably UAE. The final decision on the venue will be contingent upon the government’s directive.
