Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: India advanced to the semifinals of the Men’s Juniors Hockey World Cup 2023 after defeating the Netherlands 4-3, despite falling behind 0-2 in the first half of the match. The game took place at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
The second quarterfinal of the esteemed international hockey match was an exhilarating one. India gave up two goals, both of which came from penalty corners, in the first two quarters of the game because they were not good enough. They switched up their game plan after losing 0–2 and launched three consecutive attacks at the other time. India secured their semifinal match against Germany, who overcame Argentina, the reigning champions, in the first quarterfinal, with a final score of 4–3.
