It is my dream to become a fighter pilot
Pakistan’s former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has revealed that he once dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot.

Akhtar, who is widely regarded as one of the fastest bowlers in cricket history, visited the Wagah border on Tuesday and tweeted about his childhood ambition.
“Visited Wagah Border few days ago,” he wrote. “Armed forces & Uniform is something that has fascinated me since i was a child. I wanted to be a fighter pilot when i was a little child growing up in Morgah. I am glad i was able to wear Pakistan colors and represent the nation at international level. The sacrifices made by them can never be forgotten.”
Akhtar, who retired from international cricket in 2012, is now a successful commentator and analyst. He is also a popular figure on social media, with over 10 million followers on Twitter.
In his tweet, Akhtar paid tribute to the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s armed forces. He also expressed his pride in representing Pakistan at the highest level of cricket.
