In the semifinal, Malaysian player Mohammad Rizq Azman was defeated by Rayyan Zaman in three straight games. Ultimately, the score was 11-9, 11-8, and 12-10. It is important to note that Rayyan Zaman is the grandson of Qamar Zaman, the former squash world champion.
