Indian fast bowler Mohit Sharma has officially announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, bringing an end to a career that stretched over a decade and left a lasting impact on both domestic and international cricket.
The 35-year-old pacer, who represented India in 26 ODIs and eight T20Is, shared an emotional farewell message on Instagram, expressing gratitude to teammates, coaches, mentors, and the Haryana Cricket Association for shaping his cricketing journey.

“Today with a full heart, I announce my retirement from all forms of cricket,” Mohit wrote. “From representing Haryana to wearing the India jersey and playing in the IPL, this journey has been nothing short of a blessing.”
He extended special thanks to the Haryana Cricket Association and mentor Anirudh Chaudhry, acknowledging their constant support and faith in his abilities.
International and IPL Career
Mohit burst onto the international scene in 2013 and quickly became a dependable bowler, especially in limited-overs cricket. He took 31 ODI wickets and six T20I wickets, and was part of India’s squad for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.
