DUBAI (November 5, 2025) — The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the Player of the Month nominees for October 2025, with three top-performing spinners — Noman Ali, Senuran Muthusamy, and Rashid Khan — shortlisted for the Men’s award, while Ash Gardner, Smriti Mandhana, and Laura Wolvaardt headline the Women’s shortlist following their stellar performances at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
Men’s Player of the Month Nominees
Noman Ali (Pakistan)

Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Noman Ali delivered a sensational performance in the ICC World Test Championship series against South Africa. He claimed a 10-wicket haul in the first Test at Lahore, taking six for 112 and four for 79, earning a career-best second position in the ICC Men’s Test Bowling Rankings. Noman also added four more wickets in the Rawalpindi Test, proving his consistency throughout the series.
Senuran Muthusamy (South Africa)
South African all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy starred with both bat and ball, taking 11 wickets in Lahore and top-scoring with an unbeaten 89 runs in Rawalpindi, leading his team to a series-levelling win. His all-round display earned him the Player of the Series award.
Rashid Khan (Afghanistan)
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continued his dominance in white-ball cricket, grabbing 11 wickets at an average of 6.09 in a 3-0 ODI series sweep against Bangladesh. He also took nine wickets in five T20Is, maintaining an economy rate under 5.00, reaffirming his reputation as one of the world’s most lethal limited-overs bowlers.
Women’s Player of the Month Nominees
Ash Gardner (Australia)
Australian all-rounder Ash Gardner had an exceptional month, ranking in the top three ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings for batters, bowlers, and all-rounders. She scored 328 runs and took seven wickets, with standout innings of 115 against New Zealand and 104 not out against England at the World Cup.
Smriti Mandhana (India)

Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa)
South Africa’s captain Laura Wolvaardt topped the Women’s World Cup run charts with 470 runs in eight matches, including three half-centuries and a record-breaking 169 in the semifinal against England. Her consistency made her a standout performer in October.
