Abubakr, Amir, Hussnain, Ahtesham reach semifinals of Aitchison College Junior National Tennis Championship

In the boys U-18 singles quarterfinals, top seed Abubakar Talha blanked Hamza Ali Rizwan 6-0, 6-0 to book his place in the semifinals. Ahtesham Humayun overcame Zohaib Afzal Malik 6-4, 6-1, while Hussnain Ali Rizwan defeated Asad Zaman 6-3, 6-3 in a competitive clash. Amir Mazari advanced after a hard-fought 7-5, 4-0 (retired) win over Ruhab Faisal.

In the boys U-18 doubles, the duo of Abubakar Talha and Amir Mazari maintained their strong form, overpowering Abdullah Pirzada and Abdullah Sajjad 6-1, 6-1. Meanwhile, Ahtesham Humayun and Zohaib Afzal Malik eased through their match 6-1, 6-1, and Hamza Ahmad with Abdullah Yousaf edged Aryaan Hassan and Ohad-e-Mustafa 6-2, 6-7, 10-8 in a nail-biting finish.

The girls U-18 category saw dominant performances from the top seeds, with Bismal Zia routing Eman Mubashir 6-0, 6-0, while Fajar Fayyaz, Labia Durab, and Hajra Sohail recorded comfortable straight-set wins to move into the semifinals. In the boys U-14 division, Shayan Afridi, M Ayan, and Ohad-e-Mustafa secured victories after competitive encounters.

The boys U-12 matches featured impressive performances from M Ayan, M. Ibraheem Hussain Gill, Mustafa Uzair Rana, and M Shayan Afridi, all cruising into the next round with straight-set wins. Among the girls U-12, Khadija Khalil, Shahnoor Umer, and Aiman Rehan advanced smoothly, defeating their respective opponents with consistent all-court play.
