They have recorded 92 victories against Sri Lanka, 73 against India, 63 against West Indies, 57 against New Zealand, 54 against Zimbabwe, 34 against Australia, and 32 each against England and Bangladesh.In addition to the team’s accomplishment, captain Babar Azam also achieved a remarkable milestone during the match. He completed his 12,000 runs in international cricket, becoming the fastest Pakistani and the second-fastest Asian player to reach this feat in 277 innings.

Babar is currently the top-ranked ODI batsman globally and is widely recognized for his exceptional batting skills.The record for the fastest player to score 12,000 international runs is held by Sir Vivian Richards, who achieved it in 255 innings. Nevertheless, Babar’s achievement solidifies his position among the cricketing elite, having previously been the fastest Asian player to score 10,000 and 11,000 runs in international cricket.

Furthermore, Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah made headlines by breaking the world record for the most wickets taken in the first six ODIs of a player’s career. After claiming two wickets in the first ODI against New Zealand, Naseem now holds the record with an impressive tally of 20 wickets in six matches.

This record was previously held by New Zealand’s Matt Henry, who had claimed 19 wickets in the same number of matches.The match itself showcased Pakistan’s strong performance, with Naseem Shah delivering remarkable figures of 2-29 in 10 overs.
