Punjab Badminton Trials Conclude, Teams Announced for October Championship

The trials for the selection of the Punjab Badminton Teams (male and female) concluded on 8th September 2024 at the Gymnasium Hall, Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore. Over 120 male and 38 female players from across Punjab participated in the trials. The following players have been selected to represent Punjab in the upcoming Championship, scheduled to take place from 1st to 7th October 2024 at WAPDA Sports Complex, Lahore.

Men’s Team:

1. Shayan Tanveer
2. Hafiz Abdul Manan
3. Muqsit Islam
4. Muhammad Ahmed
5. Hafiz Hasheem ul Hassan
6. Muneeb Kamran

Women’s Team:

1. Kanz ul Eman
2. Aiman Fatima
3. Sehar Abdul Majeed
4. Kashmain Nadeem
5. Rimsha Mehak
6. Samiya Ejaz

The Selection Committee of the Punjab Badminton Association comprised Mr. Nadeem Javed, Mrs. Zarina Waqar, and Mr. Sajid Hussain.

The selected teams will compete in team events, as well as men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events at the Championship.
