LAHORE – The men’s and U15 titles in the Sybrid PSA Satellite Series 2023 at the Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Karachi were won by Ammad Fareed and Abdul Ahad.
In the men’s final, Saddam ul Haq put up a fierce fight, but Ammad Fareed prevailed 3/2, scoring 11/13,11/6,11/7, 3/11, and 12/10 in 52 minutes. With a score of 11/7, 11/2, and 11/5, Abdul Ahad Butt defeated Abdullah Shahid by a margin of 3/0 to win the boys U-15 title.
As the chief guest, Ather Imran Nawaz, CEO of Sybrid Pvt Ltd, bestowed cash prizes and trophies to the male and female finalists, respectively, worth a total of Rs 800,000 and Rs 384,000. Legendary squash player Jahangir Khan, coach Naveed Alam, Asif Azeem, and Commodore Tauqeer Ahmad Khawaja SI(M) were among the other notable attendees on this momentous occasion.
