Heated Altercations Erupt Between Virat Kohli and LSG Players in Thrilling RCB Victory

Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli found himself engaged in intense arguments with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) player Naveen-ul-Haq and mentor Gautam Gambhir as the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) emerged victorious in a low-scoring thriller.

The initial clash occurred during the 17th over of the match when Virat Kohli and Naveen exchanged heated words. A video from the game captured the former Indian captain’s anger, seemingly triggered by something said by the LSG batter.

Non-striking batsman Amit Mishra and an umpire attempted to intervene and calm the situation between the two players.

However, the dispute did not end there. Even after the game concluded and the teams shook hands, Kohli and Naveen were seen exchanging more heated words. The situation escalated until RCB player Glenn Maxwell stepped in to defuse the tension.

However, the fiery exchanges continued beyond the players’ confrontation. LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir, who has a history of rivalry with Kohli, became involved. Initially, Gambhir separated LSG batter Kyle Mayers from Kohli, and later the two mentors were observed engaging in an argument, once again interrupted by team players and umpires.

It is worth noting that Gambhir had displayed exuberant celebrations after LSG defeated RCB at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore a few days earlier. Kohli appeared to respond with increased aggression in the present game, reciprocating LSG’s celebrations after taking wickets.

In another video, the LSG captain called out Naveen-ul-Haq, possibly instructing him to apologize to Virat Kohli. However, Naveen refused his captain’s plea and proceeded onto the field. Kohli, visibly enraged by Naveen’s actions, exhibited his frustration.
